Claudia has set a great challenge this week over on the Papertake Weekly Challenge Blog. How to make a box using two pieces of cardstock. I decided to add a lid to mine as I wanted to make a gift box. Then I made a matching notebook to go inside. Pop over to the blog and take a look at all the fab designs the DT came up with.

To make the lid, I measured width and length of my box on the top, then I added 6cms to these measurements to create a 3cm lip all the way round. After cutting cardstock score 3cm lines all round (shown in purple), then snip as shown in picture, this creates the corner flaps for your lid.
Hope it makes sense!!
