I absolutely loved this card by design teamie Michelle. I have a stack of pretty paper packs but find it really difficult to add papers to my cards. As you know I like a lot of white space ! With this layout I get to use papers but still keep the white space. Thank you Michelle for being my inspiration today.

Each new place we visit we find something different to wow us ! We are currently in Wanaka but move on to Te Anau tomorrow for a couple of days before going to see my brother and family in Invercargill.
Since my last post, I've crossed New Zealand's longest swing bridge and been up in a helicopter and landed on Franz Josef Glacier ! Hubby and I have been keeping a diary, if you'd like to read more about our travels you can find our blog here.
We arrive back home early March, and then I'll have a lot of gorgeous new releases from Clearly Besotted to play with ! Until next time happy crafting !
The latest challenge over at Let's Craft and Create is Cupcakes. As you probably know I'm away travelling at the moment and even though I would have liked to sneak some crafty things into my case, I'm sure by the time I had finished we would have been over our baggage allowance! I brought far too many items of clothing as it is!
My fabulous design teamies have some great cards to inspire you, but just so I don't feel left out I'm going to share one of my cupcake cards which has already been on my blog in the past...
Hi everyone, still enjoying our travels here in New Zealand. We are in New Plymouth at the moment, but will be travelling to Whanganui tomorrow where we'll stay for one night before heading off to Wellington.
New Plymouth is absolutely stunning. We had fun cycling along the Coastal Walkway yesterday, then walking it today as we made our way to Pukekuri Park. Here are a few of my favourite photos taken over the last couple of days...
All the Ribbon Girl Design Team are joining in for a January Anything Goes challenge. Check out the challenge blog here for information of the wonderful prizes to be won and the fabulous DT creations.
For my little button jar I used Various Buttons, Peach Vintage Seam Binding, Cream Jute Mesh Ribbon, 12mm Natural Herringbone Hessian Ribbon, Natural Jute Button Twine, all available from The Ribbon Girl online store.
We had a long but good flight, and although we've only been here a couple of days, we've already been to some fabulous places here in Tauranga. Below are a few of my favourite photos taken at Mount Manganui...
What a fabulous January Release from Stephanie. Eight gorgeous new sets and some with matching die collections! Now it's time for a Clearly Besotted Challenge and the theme this month is Love.
I used the gorgeous heart shaped balloon from the newly released Up In The Air stamp set and die collection. Really love this set! The Clearly Besotted January release went live last night, I hope everyone got what they wanted! I think you'll agree, it certainly is a fabulous release this month. I know I've thoroughly enjoyed creating with the sets I've used so far.
Today I'm thinking children's cards, especially boys, as I find them a little trickier to make. Up In The Air is just perfect and by adding a number to the balloon you also get an age card!

I treated myself to a few more Hero Arts Shadow inks over Christmas. I have to say I love the Soft Cantaloupe which I've used on my first card. The photo doesn't really do the colour justice...it's stunning.
The second is Passion Flower, I really wasn't too sure of this at first, as it looked nothing like the packaging. I thought it was going to be more lilac, but it's delicate tone is growing on me.
You'll notice I've used some really fab sentiments on the two cards, these are from Say It In Style, one of Clearly Besotted's new release sets...the one I'm having real difficulty putting down at the moment! You can buy all the new releases this evening from 10pm !!
I'm currently packing to go on a very long and exciting trip next week. So things may get a little quiet around here, but I'm making the most of my crafting time this week using all these fab new release sets, and will be sharing more over the next few days. There's also the Clearly Besotted Challenge to look forward to on the 10th!

Follow Your Dreams is just one of the fabulous sentiments on the soon to be released Say it in Style stamp set from Clearly Besotted. Once I opened this set I had trouble putting it down...as you'll see over the next few days! Today I teamed it up with another wonderful new set Up In The Air. How cute are these balloons...
All the new sets will be available to buy from tomorrow, Monday 6th January at 10pm, not long to wait to get your hands on these beauties! Speaking of beauties, don't forget to check out the fabulous samples created by the rest of the design team today !!

youngsters my children loved Jubbly ice lollies, I’m sure it was the shape and
packaging more than the actual ice lolly they loved.Which, is why, I thought these would make
perfect party favours.Known as Sour
Cream Pouches, there are many different tutorials on the internet, and are very
simple to make.The beauty is
you can make them any size you want, using printed papers or cardstock stamped
with your own design as I’ve done here...

It's always nice to have little projects to do in front of the television. These hair bobbles were made using Jenny Dickens' gorgeous Autumn Berry Flower pattern which can be found here on Ravelry. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful pattern Jenny.
I used my collection of lovely Debby Bliss yarns together with my all time favourite Ribbon Girl buttons.
