HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Hubby and I have been out and about in our little van making the most of the English weather and have just returned from a very lovely sunny Eastbourne.  Our base was a campsite in Normans Bay, we walked miles along the beautiful pebbled beach and cycled along the Cuckoo Trail, finding some super little cafes along the way!

Today's card has been sitting on my desk since the last Clearly Besotted release awaiting final touches. Cute As A Bug is the stamp set I used and I just love all the images in this set.

I hope you have a good week and the sun soon starts shining again.  Happy crafting!

HELLO

I've had a fabulous time playing with all the new sets from this month's Clearly Besotted release, I hope you've enjoyed seeing all the teasers.

For today's card I used the wonderful Shaker Shapes Hello Die designed by our very talented teamie Lucy Abrams.

I layered the word several times as I really wanted it to stand out from the card and coloured it using VersaMagic Persimmon Ink.  The backing paper is from Bundle of Joy Dots & Stripes (25% off in Stephanie's store at the moment!) and the sequin shaker mix is Phosphorescence.

You'll be pleased to hear that all the new stamp sets and die collections will be available to purchase from Stephanie's online storeSimon Says Stamp and Ellen Hutson tonight at 10pm UK time.

To see the release in full and links to the design team including this month's guest designers Cindy Lovell and Keren Baker pop over to Stephanie's Blog.

MAKE A SPLASH

The Clearly Besotted teasers continue, and today I have a card to share using Make A Splash.  Another very cute set designed by Jenny, she's on fire this month!

I applied some Tim Holtz Faded Jeans Distress Ink  onto a piece of card stock before cutting out my wave with the CBS wave edge die and coated it with clear wink of stella.  It has a lovely sparkle to it in real life but unfortunately doesn't show up on the photo.

The dolphins and ball were coloured using copic markers and adhered with foam tape so they pop out from the background.

I love this little set and can't wait to use it over and over again!

Once again Stephanie has a wonderful selection of samples to share plus all the links to the design team taking part in the teasers today. And our lovely guest designers Keren Baker and Cindy Lovell will be sharing more designs also.

ALOHA

I have another Clearly Besotted teaser for you today and this time I've used the  new Aloha stamp set and matching die collection.  I absolutely love these flower images and couldn't wait to ink them up!  I used a combination of Versamagic Malted Mauve and Persimmon for the flower heads and matching card stock then Niagara Mist for the leaves.

The sentiment was embossed using WOW Bright White embossing powder.

For more fabulous creations check out Stephanie's blog, she also has all the links to the design team taking part today along with guest designers Cindy Lovell and Keren Baker.

I'll be back again tomorrow.

Stephanie has a fabulous selection of cards to share, together with links to the design team including this month's guest designers Cindy Lovell and Keren Baker.  I'll be back tomorrow with another teaser, I hope you'll join me.

AT LAST

Where are the weeks going?  It's been a little while since I last posted and a little while since I last sat and created anything in my craft room.  But, at last I do have a card to share and a photo of an adorable wee girl who just melts her Nanny's heart.  At last I've got her interested in crafting (sort of)!

First the card...

Not sure if the photo is a bit blurry or whether it's my eyes. New glasses are on order!  If you click on the photo you get a much better image to look at.  I used the gorgeous flower stamp from Clearly Besotted's Fairytale Ending and teamed it up with a sentiment from Fabulous Fuchsias.

...and now Nanny's little crafter, Evelyn just loves ribbons!

Thank you for visiting, it won't be too long before I'm back as I am now concentrating on samples for the next Clearly Besotted release!

Hello, I'm back with another Clearly Besotted teaser and today I've used Magnolia Blooms.

Hubby and I had our wedding photos taken under a Magnolia tree so we look forward to the seeing them bloom every May. A gentle reminder to purchase that anniversary card!

I've tried to keep the flower heads as delicate as I can using a mixture of VersaMagic Pink Petunia, Pixie Dust and Wheat with a little glossy accent over clear wink of stella in the centre of the blooms.

Once again Stephanie has a wonderful selection of samples to share plus all the links to the design team taking part in the teasers today. And our lovely guest designers Jo Nevil and Cindy Lovell will be sharing more designs also.

MARY JANES

My card making has taken a back seat over the last couple of weeks while I've been crocheting shoes for my gorgeous little grand daughter.  For the first two pairs I used THIS fabulous pattern by Kristi.

And for my last pair I used THIS pattern found on Melody's blog.

Both pink pairs were made using Sublime Baby Cashmere DK and for the grey pair I used Debby Bliss Baby Cashmerino yarn.

Enjoy your bank holiday weekend and happy crafting!

MAY FLOWERS

No card making for me today as we are away in the van for a few days at Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire, walking and cycling in between the rain showers!  However, I'm still managing to be a little crafty, crocheting flowers using favourite Debby Bliss yarns.

I'll eventually use these for card embellishments and hair slides.   Have a lovely weekend and I'll see you again soon with more card projects.
