My card making has taken a back seat over the last couple of weeks while I've been crocheting shoes for my gorgeous little grand daughter.  For the first two pairs I used THIS fabulous pattern by Kristi.

And for my last pair I used THIS pattern found on Melody's blog.

Both pink pairs were made using Sublime Baby Cashmere DK and for the grey pair I used Debby Bliss Baby Cashmerino yarn.

Enjoy your bank holiday weekend and happy crafting!

Today I'm sharing some hair clips I made using crocheted flowers from my previous post.

After stitching on some Ribbon Girl dotty buttons I used Clearly Besotted's retired Just For You stamp set and Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Mats die for packaging,  voila... a super gift for a special little girl!

No card making for me today as we are away in the van for a few days at Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire, walking and cycling in between the rain showers!  However, I'm still managing to be a little crafty, crocheting flowers using favourite Debby Bliss yarns.

I'll eventually use these for card embellishments and hair slides.   Have a lovely weekend and I'll see you again soon with more card projects.

Over the last few days I've been having fun making shaker cards taking inspiration from the very talented Lucy Abrams and using her fabulous sequin shaker selections.

I used Forget-Me-Not in today's card and really love the mix of seed beads, sequins and confetti.

I also used Clearly Besotted's Elegant Butterflies stamp set with paper from Echo Park's Bundle of Joy Boy Dots & Stripes, which is now available at Clearly Besotted too.  I added a generous coating of clear wink of stella to the butterfly and a sentiment from A Little Sentimental.

I'll be sharing my other Shaker cards with you real soon.

I've had a lovely crafty weekend, it's been a little while since I've spent a full day in my craft room as this little sweetie has stolen my heart and attention.

Evelyn is now 12 weeks old and very interested in everything going on around her.  Although she's still not that interested in Nanny's crafting!

I've been playing with lots of new Clearly Besotted goodies and can't wait to share them with you at the beginning of next month.  In the meantime I can share this one which I made using the lovely Sugar & Spice stamp set and die collection, which was released earlier this month.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hello, happy Saturday!  I managed to get inky in the week and finally made a card using Clearly Besotted's Keep In Touch stamp set which was released at the beginning of this month.

This is such a sweet set and I particularly love the camera with it's big heart which I covered generously with glossy accents.

With May fast approaching, another new release is on the horizon and I can assure you it's going to be absolutely fab!

Hello, remember me?  We are home from our travels and during the last week have been getting to know our beautiful grand-daughter.  She is absolutely adorable.  On one of her many visits I gave her a quick tour of my craft room, but to be honest she wasn't all that interested in Nanny's pretty papers.  I look forward to the day we can get inky together!

I don't have any projects to share with you today, but I have managed to have a little play and will be back next week with some sneak peeks for Clearly Besotted's April release.

In the meantime cast your eye over this little beauty...

We're having a fabulous time here in New Zealand.  The weather has been wonderful, and we've managed to visit some incredible places over the last couple of weeks.

We still have quite a few weeks to go before we travel home to this wee darling...

Little Evelyn born on January 30th. My daughter has made us very proud grandparents! With the power of technology we're in daily contact but I can't wait to smother her with kisses and Nanny cuddles!

Another thing I'm missing out on due to our travels is the latest Clearly Besotted release.  Be sure to check it out.  I know the team have been busy creating along with guest designers Lucy Abrams, Jo Nevill and Jen Nelson.

Saturday, 10 January 2015

My card today was inspired by Liz at Pink Petticoat with this beauty.

I just need to find a safe place to put it in our very full cases, which are packed and ready to go for our journey to New Zealand on Monday.  We are spending nine weeks travelling around the north and south islands by car, motorhome and motorbike.  Unfortunately there isn't enough space for my craft stash, so things will be a little quiet on my blog for the next two months!

However, I will share a few special moments from our trip for those of you who may be interested.

Stamps: Clearly Besotted Love Blossoms
Die Collections:  Butterfly (unknown)
Inks:  Hero Arts Soft Granite
Other: MME Decorative Tape (Oliver), Lawn Fawn Let's Polka Papers, Doodlebug Rainbow Assortment Sequins, Swarovski Crystals

For today's cards I used the newly released Baby Shower stamp set and die collection from Clearly Besotted.  I absolutely love this set.

I'm linking these to the Something New challenge over at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.  Perfect timing!

Tuesday, 6 January 2015

After five days of teasers, the new Clearly Besotted stamp sets and die collections are now available from Stephanie's online store.  With so many wonderful new sets I'm sure she's going to be very busy over the next few days!

I still have a few cards to share and today's was made using Flowers & Flourishes.

I love the flower heads in this set and although I didn't use them, having the matching dies makes it very versatile.  It also comes with a 'thank you' sentiment, also very useful this time of year!

We have another big trip coming up VERY soon, so today I'm going to start piling up all the clothes I think I'll need then whittle them down to a pile that I will actually need.  Wish me luck!

Stamps: Clearly Besotted Flowers & Flourishes
Inks:  VersaMagic Spanish Olive, Papertrey Ink Plum Pudding, Winter Wisteria, Memento Tuxedo Black
Other: Ribbon Girl Lilac Hemp Twine, Lilac Gems, Stampin Up Cardstock

It's the last day of teasers, I do hope you've enjoyed them as much as I have.  For my cards today I've used With Sprinkles and Child's Play.  What great sets they are too.  I had so much fun with the doughnuts and heart cookies...

Child's Play has some very sweet images, I chose the building blocks for my new baby card stamping it onto pretty dotty paper before die cutting.  To make the letters of the blocks stand out I used glossy accents

Stephanie will/has revealed all the new sets in this month's release and they go on sale tonight, not only in her online storebut also at SSS at 10pm UK time.

Thank you for visiting and leaving lovely comments on my posts over the last few days.

Happy Crafting!
