TAGS...

Are you ever reluctant to throw away those little bits of card or paper from projects?  I try not to hoard too much but sometimes it's really difficult.  Which is how these little tags came about...

After resizing some cards I just couldn't throw the offcuts away !
I'm entering my tags in to the 'Tag It' challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp! Challenge Blog.

SWEET BABY

Loving all the 'onesie' cards I've been spotting on the web so just had to have a go at one myself.

I've used  Papertrey Ink's gorgeous Bitty Baby Blessings papers together with  delicious ribbon and brad, a gift from the lovely Emma and felt from the Ribbon Girl.  All of which just happen to tie in with our Flower challenge over at Let's Craft and Create!

FLOWER POWER

It's challenge time at Let's Craft and Create and this time our theme is flowers...

I love wrapping gifts in cellophane, especially when the gift itself has lovely packaging.  I took inspiration from the Cath Kidston colours and pattern on the shower gel box to make a matching gift tag.

The design team have some fabulous flower creations to share with you, come and visit us here.

SURPRISE PURSE

The Surprise Purse is one of Adela's latest additions to her wonderful templates.  I have to say it's quickly become one of my favourites.

The template comes with easy instructions and inspirational ideas of how to decorate it.  This little purse can be created in very little time and not only is it a fun card you can also add a little gift inside which slides up when the purse is opened.  Just perfect for a gift card.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and snow if you have it!

LACE HEART

I've used lots of lovely Ribbon Girl Lace and buttons on my project today...

together with lovely blue faux silk ribbon.

I rubbed star dust stickles into the buttons to add a nice glittery effect.  The main fabric is calico, a versatile fabric that doesn't cost a fortune!

HAPPY NEW BABY

Hi everyone, this evening I'd like to share a very CAS baby card.  The pram has been paper pieced using Pink Petticoat Vintage Rose collection papers and although it's very difficult to see on this photo, I've added crystal effects to the wheels and heart to make them pop out from the image.

CHALLENGE TIME...

It's challenge time at Let's Craft and Create and the theme is Valentine.

For my little Valentine treats I used Pink Cat Sudio's very cute Robot image  together with papers from Pink Petticoat.  You can find out how to make these cute treat holders here at Dawn's Stamping Thoughts Blog.

At Let's Craft and Create we like to keep the interpretation of our themes open, so please don't feel you have to make a valentine card.  Your project can include anything that has been inspired by valentines day for example hearts, the colours red or pink, romantic lace etc.

The design team have had fun with this theme, you can check out all the creations here.  There's also a fab little give away for this challenge!

There's still time to join us over at Let's Craft and Create for our butterfly challenge.

For this card I used Craft Concepts Dandelion Whisper embossing folder, a butterfly die cut from Melissa Frances 5th Avenue papers, and layered with more cut from pages of an old book (difficult to see in this photo).  Finished it off with a double ended banner, Waltzingmouse sentiment and a little stitching.

I have quite a few embossing folders and really don't use them enough. They can look quite stunning and elegant.  This photo really doesn't do the dandelions any justice as they really pop out from the card in real life!

It was this gorgeous card by Steph that made me dust off my embossing folders...thank you Steph!
